Giving the ministry away...

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes seeks to mobilize the entire community to invest in the holistic development of athletes and coaches through partnerships with local churches, businesses, parents and volunteers.  It is amazing to see how God can work through a community that is dedicated to "influencing the influential"!

Consider the impact of a church choosing to adopt a local high school team -- serving pregame meals and offering pregame chapels -- with nothing to gain but the opportunity to speak truth and life into the hearts of athletes and coaches.  Consider the impact of a group of parents coming together on a regular basis to pray for opportunities to begin on-campus ministry at their local high school.  Consider the impact of a team Bible study held after practice by a local soccer or gymnastics club.  FCA Community ministry is at the heart of these opportunities and many more.

FCA also provides opportunities for athletes and coaches to return blessings to their community through service and outreach projects.  Recent projects include the Downtown Soup Kitchen, the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, and Food Fight! to End Hunger.

The FCA ministry only expands when people commit to investing their most important asset:

TIME.

Are you ready to give your time, talents and treasure in public high schools?  Stinky locker rooms?  Cramped coaches offices?  Contact us!  We have a place for you!

Our Vision:

To see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches.

Our Mission:

To present to athletes and coaches and all whom they influence the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.

Our Values:

Integrity:  We will demonstrate Christ-like wholeness, privately, and publicly. (Proverbs 11:3)

Serving:  We will model Jesus' example of serving.  (John 13:1-17)

Teamwork:  We will express our unity in Christ in all our relationships.  (Philippians 2:1-4)

Excellence:  We will honor and glorify God in all we do.  (Colossians 3:23-23)
