Coaches are the focus of the FCA ministry because their influence on players, families and society is undeniable.  Our dream is to equip and empower coaches to view their teams as places of discipleship; to take full advantage of the opportunities that sports provide to teach broader life lessons and to introduce their players to the lifelong adventure of knowing Jesus Christ. 

To see this dream become reality, we proactively serve the practical and spiritual needs of coaches.  Coaches' ministry takes many forms, including:

  • coaches' Bible studies and discipleship groups

  • coaches' clinics

  • social events for coaches and their families

  • coach/spouse retreats

  • in-season support for coaches' families

  • practical team support (pregame meals, SAQ training, etc) 

  • team chaplaincy

As our volunteer base grows, we hope to expand our coaches' ministry to include other programs and forms of support!  If you'd like to volunteer to serve coaches, their families, and/or their teams, please contact us.

We believe that sport is the most powerful tool available for influencing the character of young people, and we are further convinced that equipping coaches to leverage this tool in the name of Christ is the single greatest service we can provide to our community.
